A small, modern cafe, Coffee Time is ideally located in the centre of Nicosia, but away from the hustle of Makarios Avenue. Besides the usual variety of cappuccinos and lattes, Coffee Time has a selection of filter coffees from around the world, served in stylish French presses. I tried the Nicaraguan Matagalpa, which had a nice taste but was probably not the right choice for me considering my preference for strong, dark coffee . At euro3,80 for a French press of coffee, the prices were definitely fair-only the eclectic Jamaican Blue Mountain was priced at euro7. On the sweeter side, the strawberry milkshake was promising, but the apple pie had a soft crust that failed to the justice to its filling. A pleasant experience, with friendly service-albeit a little on the leisurely side. 27K, Themistokli DerviSt, Nicosia. Tel. 22678178
