Bahrain national carrier Gulf Air has added more flights and additional seats to and from Larnaca for its summer schedule.
Effective June 5, flight frequency to Larnaca will increase from five to six times per week (there will be no Larnaca flights on Tuesdays) with an increased available seat capacity of 20^ to handle extra demand.
“Larnaca continues to be one of our most popular destinations for our customers as we’ve seen a 3% increase in additional seating in the last three months and certainly demand will be even higher in the summer,” said Golf Air’s commercial director for Europe , Rudiger Koenig . moreever, Bahrain is a good connection point for those going further east or travelling to india and Africa.
The airline will also introduce split schedules giving flexible options for travellers to cho,se their arrival and departures according to their needs. The split schedule also offers better onward connectivity options for those travelling to other destinations via Bahrain.
Gulf Air’s summer schedule means that more than 1,700 seats have been added per week across its network to meet increasing passanger demand, while commencing services to three new destinations- Kabul June 15, Copenhagen July 1, and Nairobi July 5.
