A Paphos events company advance booking for a local extravaganza celebrating the British Royal Wedding in April.
In Any Event are holding a joint street party and V.I.P. event at DT’s Bar on Tombs of the Kings Road in Kato Paphos in celebration of the April 29 wedding between Prince William and Catherine Middleton.
“Royal weddings do not happen very often but when they do, the British like to celebrate them. We are offering two different choices at the venue, a `street party` style event and a `VIP` section DT’s is perfect for both with the lower terrace able to accommodate 100 people and the upper balcony,32,” Anita Hopkins of In Any Event told. “The wedding is set for 1pm local time. Guests will arrive at midday for a glass of bubbly before setting to watch the ceremony on wide screened TV’s. This will be followed by the choice of a lunch from 3pm with music provided to celebrate the wedding of the year. We want to give people a chance to celebrate the occasion in a traditional fashion.”
For the street party option, guests will be able to enjoy the wedding on three TV screens. The buffet and drinks will be served on the terrace with the TV’s inside so that the glare of sunlight will not interfere with viewing.
“The buffet tables will have the food in the middle so people can station themselves around them with their friends,”
Throughout the event, a DJ will play mellow music with some group sing-songs thrown in.
“We have no doubt the TV coverage will be excellent for such an historic occasion and what better way to watch and celebrate than with a group of friendly people who will all raise a glass to the couple and enjoy themselves”.
The Lower Terrace `Street Party` style event comprises a glass of Bucks Fizz on arrival, wide screen TV coverage of wedding, a full buffet lunch from 3pm and entertainment. The price is euro20.
