Ryanair will operate two new routes from Cyprus in April to Bologna, Italy and Dusseldorf, Germany.
This will make the total number of destinations offered by Ryanair to four from Larnaca International Airport. Ryanair said its Cyprus traffic will increase to 120,000 passengers in 2011 sustaining up to 120 local jobs.
Ryanair celebrated its new Cyprus routes in 2011 by launching one million euro6 a seat salefor travel on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays in late February and March. The new routes from Larnaca can now be booked online at www.ryanair.com.” Ryanair is delighted to announce two new routes from Larnaca. Ryanair’s four Cyprus routes will provide Cyprus consumers/visitors with more low fare connections, including the new ones to Italy and Germany ,” said Ryanair’s Melisa Corrigan.
“ We are very pleased that Ryanair has chosen to increase capacity to Cyprus in 2011. The availability of low cost flights from Germany and Italy will definitely boost tourism to Cyprus from two of Europe’s most important markets, adding to the success we have already had with Ryanair flights to Charleroi, Belgium, and Girona, Spain,” said Hermes Airport’s Ken Hassard.
