A series of events titled Multi-Cultural Exchange and Mutual Interaction will be staged in Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol and Paphos between February and June this year.
Under the slogan “Welcome to Cyprus, a multicultural island,” the events are co-organised by Inter college Larnaca and Economic Management Ltd (EMS).
They will include round table discussions, radio interviews, a competition and photo exhibition, treasure hunt, multicultural festivals and a football tournament.
The events aim to help third country nationals and local society to understand each other better.
“These events will promote the culture, customs and traditions of each country and therefore facilities understanding, acceptance and respect of various national and cultural identities which coexist in Cyprus” said Stratoulla Taramountani, in charge of the events.
