The Paphos-based organisation FITA (Females in the Arts) is collaborating with the local Tekni School of Art in a call for submissions for an online petition.
Named the FITA Global Master Art Award 2011, also working with FITA and Tekni on the competition are ART’10 Cyprus and Artnow Online America.
“This is an international award open for entery by all types of artists, artisans, photographers and designers worldwide. Award entrants will be sourced from men and women of all nationalities and ages.”
Enterance for the award opened, April 1 with the deadline on June 1. The winner and finalists will be announced in July.
The winner will receive a free Artist Gold Membership Subscription to www.artnowonline.com valued at $100 enabling the artist to display 40 images on the site,including on the homepage. Art works will also be displayed in the online magazine, artnowMAG and Artnow online will include a link to the artist’s personal web site. A sub domain will be will be available upon request and Artnow Online will create a video and display it at Artnow TV.
As far as sale of work is concerned, potential buyers will be able to contact the artist directly by the online contact form.
The award is administrated and corporately sponsored by FITA .
The winners will be requested to attend an official award ceremony.
