Beach Clean-Up An underwater and beach clean-up is being organised as part of Dive for Earth Day. On Saturday , April 24, at St Raphael Beach, the Crest Dive Centre, the 53rd St. Barnabas Scout Group in Limassol, and community volunteers will join in the action for Project AWARE Foundation’s global Dive for Earth Day events. More than 235 collective events will take place in 60 countries around the world and Crest Dive Centre will make a local splash for this conservation celebration. Join Crest Dive Centre and dive and beach based volunteers to make a difference to the underwater and beach environment. Each year, during the week of April 22, divers and water enthusiasts worldwide make a splash for water conservation in partnership with Project AWARE, a non-profit organisation dedicated to underwater conservation. This year events include shoreline and underwater clean ups, coral reef surveys, AWARE Kids projects, mooring buoy installations and more. Contact Marco Visino at Crest Dive Centre to take action for Earth day this year.
